DSCR F18C: TIME OF DELIVERY/PERFORMANCE

    (a)  Delivery is required to be made to permit performance in 
accordance with the following schedule:

         (1)  Period of Performance:  The Contractor will be required 
to commence work under this contract after notice of award.  The Contractor
shall prosecute said work diligently and complete the project including 
installation, all required testing, and final clean-up of premises not 
later than        .

                                                                       

         (2)  Time of Performance:  Unless otherwise requested by the 
Contractor and approved by the Contracting Officer in writing, all work 
performed under this contract at the site shall be during the following 
hours (local time), except holidays:

         MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

                                                                       

    (b)  Attention is directed to Provision 52.215-1 (Section L) 
which provides that a written award mailed or otherwise furnished to 
the successful offeror results in a binding contract.  Therefore, in 
computing the available time for performance, the offeror should take 
into consideration the time required for notice of award to arrive 
through the ordinary mails.

    (c)  Motor Carrier Shipment:  In accordance with the provisions 
of FAR Clause 52.247-35 (Section F), the Contractor shall be responsible 
for receipt and unloading of all Contractor materials.

    (d)  Notice of Rail Shipment:  The Contractor shall notify, by wire, 
the Transportation Officer at the Government installation identified in 
Section B of the schedule of each shipment by rail giving such information 
as car number, routing, contract number, commodity, and name/phone extension 
of the depot Contracting Officer Representative.

    (e)  Acceleration of Deliveries/Performances:  Maximum acceleration 
is desired and authorized provided such acceleration is at no additional 
cost to the Government and is within the delivery limitations contained in 
this contract.
