L7 52.209-9G04 WAIVER OF FIRST ARTICLE APPROVAL DSCR (JAN 1997)
AND TEST (GOVERNMENT TESTING)

(a) In accordance with FAR Clause 52.209-4, First Article
Approval Government Testing (ALT I or II), the Government reserves
the right to waive the requirement for first article approval tests
where supplies identical or similar to those called for in the
solicitation have been previously furnished by the offeror and have
been accepted by the Government.
(b) Offerors offering such products, who wish to rely on such
prior acceptance by the Government, must furnish evidence with the
offer that prior Government acceptance is presently appropriate for
the products to be furnished hereunder by indicating below the
information for identical or similar supplies accepted by the
Government.

(c) The delivery Schedule for the production quantity shall
be reduced by the number of days allotted for the submission and
approval of the first article if submission of first article is
waived by the Government. However, the earlier delivery Schedule
shall not be a factor in evaluation for award unless urgent
requirements exist.
