DSCR L22: AVAILABILITY OF TITLES

    (a)  Offerors must ascertain supply availability of each 
item (book title) offered.  Offerors must indicate postponed 
publications with the expected publication dates offered, when 
applicable.  Out of print titles should be annotated as such 
and not offered (but unit prices for postponed publications must 
be shown).  See delivery schedule for time of delivery for 
titles not yet published or postponed.

CAUTION:  Award will be made for the editions specified in the 
item description, if such editions are offered.  Offerors may 
offer other editions and such other editions will be considered 
for award based on the most recent other edition offered, if the 
specified edition is not offered.

    (b)  Offeror must offer regular clothbound editions except 
when a book is published only in other than regular clothbound 
editions, in which case the offeror will indicate the type of 
binding to be furnished (this is not required in the case of 
workbooks or guides which are published in paperbound editions).
All books offered must be unused.

    (c)  Out of Stock Titles:  If subsequent to award any of the 
items offered become out of print or out of stock, the contractor 
must promptly notify the Contracting Officer before shipment and 
advise what substitute titles, if any, are available, and expected 
publication dates of out of stock titles.  If the titles are 
acceptable to the Government, the Contracting Officer will issue 
a change order pursuant to the Changes Clause to effect the change 
in title or extended delivery date.  If a substitute title is not 
available or is not acceptable to the Contracting Officer, the 
Contracting Officer may unilaterally cancel such out of stock and 
print titles from the contract, at no cost to the Government, and 
cancel any items of the same correlated group as the item which is 
out of stock or out of print.
