PROVISIONS FOR COMPRESSED
GAS CYLINDERS
(a) Government Property Clause: FAR Clause 52.245-2,
Government Property (Fixed Price Contracts) (JUN 2003), is
incorporated herein by reference. The Government will furnish
compressed gas cylinders for use in the performance of this
contract.All other property and materials will be furnished
by the Contractor. If cylinders are not delivered to the
Contractor by the required time, the Contractor should contact
the GFP Monitor, Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson
Davis Hwy, ATTN: DSCR-JJB, Richmond, VA 23297-5862, Telephone
(804) 279-3292.
(b) Transporting Compressed Gas Cylinders: The Government
will bear the cost of transporting the cylinders described herein,
unless provided otherwise in the contract, to the plant as
identified in this paragraph. Such cost will be used in the
evaluation of the offer; therefore offerors must indicate in the
space below the name and address of the plant where the cylinders
will be refurbished/filled. If such is not so, the Government
will assume, and evaluate offers on the assumption, that the
cylinders will be delivered to the plant specified by the offeror
in paragraph (b) of Clause 52.247-9G17 (Sec K), Production Facilities.
If no plant is indicated in the offer, the offer will be evaluated
on the basis of delivery to the Contractor's business address
indicated in the offer. If the offeror uses a shipment point other
than that which has been used by the Government as a basis for the
evaluation of offers, any increase of transportation costs shall be
borne by the Contractor and any savings shall revert to the Government.

CITY AND STATE
(c) Delivery Schedule: The delivery Schedule contained in the
solicitation is based on the assumption that initial delivery of the
cylinders will be made to the Contractor within sixty (60) days after
award. If the cylinders are not delivered within this time, the
Contracting Officer shall, upon timely written request made by the
Contractor, make a determination of the delay, if any, caused the
Contractor and shall make an equitable adjustment in the delivery
schedule.
(d) Inspection of Cylinders: The Contractor shall arrange
with the Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) at the Contract
Administration Office (CAO) for inspection of the cylinders as
applicable. No "as required" repair services will be accomplished
without the prior approval of the QAR that such repair service is
necessary and the prior written notice of the Contracting Officer
that funds have been approved for "as required" repairs.
(e) GFP to be Furnished the Contractor: The Government
will furnish cylinders for use in the performance of the resulting
contract in the quantity required as follows:
