It is the vendor's responsibility to telephone the Consignee's
Transportation Officer (Transport Control/Prelodge Desk) as far in advance
as possible to make arrangements for delivery of freight shipments (other
than small parcels). Appointments for some bulk type shipments require a 7
- 10 day advance notice. Bills of lading must be annotated to reflect this
requirement.
